The Dewey Building was originally the library, liberal arts offices, and IT department.

Purcell Construction acted as the construction manager for the Collaborative Learning Center and Renovation of the Dewey Building at SUNY Jefferson. The Dewey Building, a 35,000 sf, three-story, building, was originally the library, liberal arts offices, and IT department. The ground floor of the building remains the IT department space, floors one and two were converted into a nursing education lab, a paramedic lab, five classrooms, faculty office suites and two student lounges.
