A LEED Platinum-certified barracks building in Ft. Eustis, offering 80-person accommodations with energy efficiency and reduced water usage.

The Warriors In Transition project is a four-story, 48,200 SF barracks building, located on a 3.34 acre site in Ft. Eustis, VA. The 80-person barracks building incorporates 20 two-bedroom, two-bathroom modules and 20 two-bedroom, one-bathroom modules, all with shared living space. This project demonstrated a 51% reduction in water use and an energy cost savings of 48%. On-site renewable energy systems offset 12% of total annual energy costs. This project included high energy performance requirements and attained LEED Platinum status.
