Samaritan Medical Center Labor, Delivery, and Recovery

The LDR Project consisted of a complete, new Labor & Delivery suite, as well as two new Cesarean Birth ORs.

  The L&D suite included eight new Labor & Delivery rooms, each with private family space, a new Reception & Lounge, Nurse Station and multiple areas for both staff support and patient comfort.  The Cesarean Birth suite consisted of two new, state-of-the-art Cesarean Birth ORs with full support space and a large Recovery area.  New mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were installed throughout, including special systems for both patient monitoring and infant security.  The LDR project included substantial upgrades to the 6^th and 7^th floor Mechanical equipment, including new roof-top equipment that serves a large portion of the facility.
