Purcell Construction completed the construction of East Hall at Jefferson Community College in August 2014. This residence hall accommodates nearly 300 students and met an aggressive twelve month construction schedule.
This design-build project consisted of a 95,000 square foot, four-story, 298 bed residence hall and the related site work on the campus of the Jefferson Community College. The building is “L” shaped, with two four story wings merging with a single story common area. The unit types in the building include 220 doubles, 78 singles in 5 different suite style apartments. The commons area includes community space for the students, lounges, classrooms, a computer lab, meeting room, storage, and office space. Students moved into the building in August for the 2014-2015 academic year.
