Purcell Construction was subcontracted to provide services to manufacture and erect the panelized structural framing system on this 1,000 room, seven-story hotel.

As the panelized structural framing system subcontractor, Purcell Construction was tasked with manufacturing and erecting the panels for this seven-story building in under 12 months. This building totaled over 500,000 square feet and includes 1,000 hotel rooms. A portion of our scope included the erection of a safety railing for use by Purcell's workers and others on the job site. The entire project totaled $88 million in construction cost. The facility received a LEED Silver rating from the USGBC and provides accommodations for the soldiers and their families as they transition to and from Fort Lee, VA.
